About This Blog

My name is Rick Bell, and I’m a veteran Black Belt Instructor and former professional Kick Boxer who knows the Martial Arts business from the ground up. 

My original style is TaeKwon Do, but like many instructors, I blended several systems together over the years and ended up teaching a mixed style that incorporated quite a bit of boxing. 

I am the developer of the NO INTRO ENROLLMENT TOUR, the system that allows you to stop teaching intro lessons and enroll more students. I’ve shared the Enrollment Tour Method with thousands of instructors over the years, and the “Tour” system, in various forms, is used by schools across the country. 

I have been a columnist for “Martial Arts Professional” Magazine, and I have appeared in numerous videos, audio interviews, and seminars. 

I have worked in the Martial Arts billing business for over a decade as President of a well known billing company, and during that time I have seen many products, proceedures and fads come and go. This blog is dedicated to spreading the honest truth about what works in the Martial Arts business, and what doesn’t. 

My goal with this blog is to encourage other school owners and instructors to share their experiences with what has worked for them and what hasn’t, and to hopefully save you time and money.
